Our Vision

At Baat Cheet,

our vision is rooted in reaching every individual who may be experiencing emotional distress, overwhelm, or simply struggling to make sense of their inner world. Having already touched the lives of 5,000+ individuals, we continue to move forward with a larger vision, to ensure that no one feels alone in their journey. We are deeply committed to breaking the stigma around counselling and therapy, helping people view it as a space of strength, not hesitation. By making therapy more convenient, accessible, and approachable, we aim to remove the barriers that often hold people back from seeking support. Our goal is not just numbers, but meaningful impact, creating a space where conversations lead to real change. By reducing the gap between therapists and those in need, we strive to make support feel just one click away, simple, human, and always within reach.

Aakanksha’s journey into psychology did not begin with a single decision, but with a growing curiosity about people, their emotions, their struggles, and the stories they often carry silently. As a student, she found herself drawn beyond textbooks, choosing spaces where she could sit with people, listen to them, and understand their lived realities. It was in these moments, across classrooms, fieldwork, and clinical settings, that psychology slowly became more than a subject, it became a way of connecting.

During her training, she encountered individuals who had been holding onto their struggles for years, unsure of where to go or hesitant to seek help. Around the same time, her own early experience with therapy, where she was unexpectedly left without support, became a defining moment. What could have been discouraging instead shaped her perspective: that the space of therapy must feel safe, reliable, and deeply human.

Over time, these experiences came together to form a larger vision. Baat Cheet was born from this understanding, a space built on the belief that conversations can heal, and that support should never feel out of reach. Through her work, Aakanksha continues to move toward that vision, making mental health care more accessible, approachable, and grounded in genuine connection.

Saloni’s journey into psychology began with a natural inclination towards understanding people beyond surface-level interactions. During her early academic years, she found herself drawn to deeper conversations, where individuals shared their struggles, confusion, and emotional experiences. This curiosity gradually shaped her decision to pursue psychology, eventually becoming a clear professional path.

As she progressed through her training in clinical psychology, her real-world experiences played a defining role. Working closely with individuals across concerns such as trauma, anxiety, overthinking, and relationship difficulties, she witnessed how often people delay seeking help, due to stigma, lack of awareness, or simply not knowing where to begin. These experiences strengthened her belief in the need for spaces that feel safe, accessible, and genuinely supportive.

Co-founding Baat Cheet was a step towards bridging this gap. Through her work, Saloni aims to make mental health care feel more approachable and integrated into everyday life, creating a platform where people can seek support without hesitation and feel understood in their journey.
